Bulgarian Furniture Cluster activities - president G. Christova-Murray
The online meeting will present representatives of Bulgarian furniture and woodworking companies organizations. Representatives of local public bodies will also be invited for presentation on SME support mechanisms. 

During the cluster visit, the participants will visit the Ligna Group Ltd and the EXPO MEBEL SOFIA (international exhibition for furniture, interior textile and home accessories). Bulgarian Furniture Cluster's members NIKI 92 Ltd and BCC 95 Ltd will receive the delegation during the second day of the visit. 

The networking section of the event will be continous and we invite you to set up meetings using the platform!

Project partners discussion & South Africa stakeholders
On April 4th - 8th, a FGOI delegation coordinated by the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster & Hygia Consult will travel to the Western Cape Province, meeting with stakeholders in Cape Town, George and Knysna. During the meetings, the project and the intentions of the European companies will be presented: bilateral import/export relations, direct investment intentions and companies interested in partners for international projects.  

On April 5th, 2022, between 10.00 and 12.00 (SAST Time) the meeting "Project partners discussion & South Africa stakeholders" will take place, with the physical participation of some guests in Cape Town and online participants from partnered networks. On this occasion, the project and the interest of the collaborating parties (European & African partners) will be briefly presented. The online meeting will take place in this platform by accessing the link from the virtual camera.

FGOI Cluster visit Slovenia
On 14th -15th April, a FGOI delegation coordinated by the Wood Industry Cluster, will travel to Ljubljana, in the context of FGOI cluster visits.

On 14th April, the delegation will attend the Slovenian Woodworking Day - a central multi-day sectorial event that brings together policy makers, industry and researchers. 
As part of the visit, this online session is dedicated to internationalization, where the state's activities in support of the internationalization of companies, examples of good practice and the international FGOI project will be presented.
You can follow the event 14th od April 2022 from 11:45 to 13:10 Central European Time online (translated into English) via the Zoom link HERE.

This is followed by the international b2b event from 13.10 to 14.10 Central European Time, in which you can also take part online HERE (registration needed).

On 15th April, the delegation will have an FGOI stakeholder meeting from 9:00 to 11:00 Central European Time.  As special guest is invited the Wood Furniture Home Cluster FVG with a presentation on their internationalization activities and on possible collaboration at cluster level. Y

Internationalization opportunities in UK - by HABIC
On 24th May, at 10.30 CET, the hybrid session ”Internationalization opportunities in UK - by HABIC” will take place, in the context of the cluster visit organized by HABIC. 

Representatives of the FGOI consortium will attend on 24-25 May a cluster visit organized by HABIC in London, in the context of sharing knowledge about the European furniture market, support networking among European delegations and facilitate the formation of collaborative partnerships between participants.
During the event, opportunities for internationalization in the UK will be presented, as well as the Basque Living Showroom concept and management model. Moreover, the on-site delegations will learn about the HABIC SMEs that are involved in the collaborative showroom.

Hoda Anwar – Key inputs about the Egyptian specification market
During the meeting, Hoda Anwar will present some key points for manufacturers about how specification market works in Egypt and how sustainability is considered in architecture and interior design projects in this country.

Hoda Anwar is a thriving Architect and Environmental Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the Environmental Industry.

Currently associated with ECG Consultants, she is a very active member in the Sustainability and Green Buildings on both local and regional scale. Her intensive experience in Environmental Engineering and Specification makes her an asset for sustainable projects. She is a USGBC faculty, USGBC Pro-Reviewer, WELL Accredited Professional from IWBI, EDGE Expert and EPD Specialist, LEED Accredited Professional BD+C from GBCI, and has participated in several international conferences as reviewer and judge.

Transylvanian Furniture Cluster was established in 2012 at the initiative of several legal entities, through their association, to support the furniture industry in its quest for competitiveness, both on the national and international market. Besides the validation from more than 80 current members (mostly SMEs), the management team of the cluster is Gold Label certified by ESCA – European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis. Transylvanian Furniture Cluster is a founding member of the Northern Transylvania Clusters Consortium, is part of the Clusters Association in Romania – CLUSTERO and is active in multiple national and international networks and platforms, such as ECCP – European Cluster Collaboration Platform and FWCP – The Furniture and Woodworking Cluster partnership.

Wood Industry Cluster Slovenia
The Wood Industry Cluster, Slovenia (WIC) is a non-profit private association that was founded in 1999 by woodworking companies, along with state institutions. Today the WIC is comprised of 90 companies and institutions including Slovenian wood processors and producers of furniture (about one third of the Slovenian wood sector). The staff of the WIC office has more than 30 years of experience, especially in the field of clustering, networking, development, project coordination and management, participation in EU projects, transfer of knowledge, as well as in training and internationalisation.
