Furniture Go International (FGOI) is a project with solid basis and ambitious goals, starting mid september 2021 and lasting 3 years. It is driven by eight clusters from six European countries which, for the first time, will pool all their market knowledge and experience to design internationalization activities exclusively for SMEs in the sector and 100% result-oriented. The aim is to offer useful and tailor-made tools to approach markets outside the European Union, in particular the United States, Canada, Egypt, and South Africa.

OBJECTIVES

Support european SMEs become a dinamic and relevant players in global competition.
Help SMEs capable of internationalisation and conquering a top market position in USA, Canada, South Africa or Egypt.
Promote a pan-European Strategic Cluster Partnership and lead international cluster cooperation in countries beyond Europe.
Intensify the network across borders and across sectorial boundaries by boosting collaboration.

Wood&Furniture Go International 2024 - B2B Matchmaking event

The event will feature individual international business b2b meetings in order to find new business opportunities with innovative European furniture and wood companies.

If you are a construction or furniture company, real estate developer, architect, interior designer, agent, retailer, or wholesaler, you are welcome to register and add your company profile to the InEvent platform until 5th of March 2024. The participation is free of charge.

The b2b meetings will be pre-arranged and only available to registered participants on the InEvent platform, lasting 15 minutes each. The language of the meetings will be English or any other language agreed upon by the participants of the 1×1 meeting.

In addition to the b2b matchmaking event, an individual program of visits to Slovenian wood & furniture companies or reference examples of wooden buildings will be organized on 6^th March 2024 for the participants who will attend the event onsite in Ljubljana.

AMBIT - Furnishing cluster

AMBIT - Furnishing cluster is a business association with a legal and non-profit nature whose main objective is to promote and contribute to the competitiveness of the entire chain of value of the habitat sector in Catalonia.

HCB works transversally with companies in the sector to innovate, we help in the evolution of business and focus on shared strategic challenges. Bulgarian Furniture Cluster

The Bulgarian Furniture Cluster is a dynamic non-profit association registered in 2009 that holds an ESCA Label – Bronze. The organization urges its members, from furniture design to manufacturing, to be competitive on the local markets, but partners on the international stage, collaboratively building a “brand name” of innovation, quality, and reliability for the Bulgarian furniture industry at international markets.

CLUSTER OF CZECH FURNITURE MANUFACTURERS

Cluster of Czech Furniture Manufacturers, the largest cluster focusing on furniture and woodworking industry, interior design and leader of cluster initiatives in the Czech Republic, is an open organization into which any Czech furniture maker who identifies with its goals and vision can join.

HABIC BASQUE HABITAT, WOOD, OFFICE & HOSPITALITY C

Habic is the cluster association of habitat, wood, hospitality and design industry of the Basque Country. We group together near to 100 hundred members, including about 80 industrial companies, most of the SMEs.

Our mission is to improve industry competitiveness through collaborative projects and shared knowledge that lead to new sustainable competitive advantages to the companies.

Interior Cluster Sweden

Interior Cluster Sweden is a non-profit organisation, a geographic concentration of 105 furniture producers, sub suppliers, institutions and municipalities in the furniture and interior design industry.

It has the potential to affect competition by increasing the productivity of the companies in the cluster, driving innovation, and stimulating new businesses and growth.

Our goal is to represent, support and promote the Swedish furniture industry when in dialogue with our national and international partners.

PRO WOOD Regional Wood Cluster

Transylvanian Furniture Cluster

Transylvanian Furniture Cluster was established in 2012 at the initiative of several legal entities, through their association, to support the furniture industry in its quest for competitiveness, both on the national and international market. Besides the validation from more than 80 current members (mostly SMEs), the management team of the cluster is Gold Label certified by ESCA – European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis. Transylvanian Furniture Cluster is a founding member of the Northern Transylvania Clusters Consortium, is part of the Clusters Association in Romania – CLUSTERO and is active in multiple national and international networks and platforms, such as ECCP – European Cluster Collaboration Platform and FWCP – The Furniture and Woodworking Cluster partnership.

Wood Industry Cluster Slovenia

The Wood Industry Cluster, Slovenia (WIC) is a non-profit private association that was founded in 1999 by woodworking companies, along with state institutions. Today the WIC is comprised of 90 companies and institutions including Slovenian wood processors and producers of furniture (about one third of the Slovenian wood sector). The staff of the WIC office has more than 30 years of experience, especially in the field of clustering, networking, development, project coordination and management, participation in EU projects, transfer of knowledge, as well as in training and internationalisation.
